Quickbeams

Quickbeam I is the most advanced and economical concrete form support for spans up to 10’–6”. It may be used alone on jobs where only short spans are needed or together with Standard beams and other Quickbeam on jobs where longer spans are required. In either case, it reduces shoring costs.

Quickbeam I

The horizontal shore is rugged enough to support heavy loads, yet light enough for easy handling.

  • Rolled-in camber flattens under load to ensure even slab, resets after use.
  • Required camber is automatically set by closing of wedge lock.
  • A hammer blow closes and opens wedge lock. Fast erection and striping is achieved through solid bottom cord.

The wedge lock locks and unlocks with one hammer blow, saves valuable time in erecting and stripping horizontal shoring without time-consuming adjustments. There is no guesswork I the uniform setting of the required camber.

Strong interfitting bearing prongs permit horizontal shores on both sides of the ledger to rest directly above supporting vertical shore. Adjoining plywood sheets always meet in the center of the Quickbeam on both sides of the ledger.

Lattice section has solid bottom coed which automatically prevents dropping of plate section beyond desired position after wedge lock is opened. Plate section can therefore slide freely inside lattice section, allowing fast, simple stripping of the beam.

Quickbeam II – Intermediate Spans

Quickbeam II is the most advanced and economical concrete form support for spans up to 13’–9”. It may be used alone on jobs where only short spans are needed or together with Standard beams and other Quickbeam on jobs where longer spans are required. In either case, it reduces shoring costs.

  • maximum end reaction – 2,200 pounds
  • maximum bending moment – 5,790 pounds
  • Adjustable length 7’11” to 13’9”
  • Weight – 78 pounds
  • Rolled-in camber flattens under load to ensure even slab, resets after use.

Quickbeam III – Long Spans

The horizontal shore is rugged enough to support heavy loads, yet light enough for easy handling.

  • maximum end reaction – 2,860 pounds
  • maximum bending moment – 8,680 pounds
  • Adjustable length 9’11” to 17’4”
  • Weight – 106 pounds
